Warm hospitality and excellent cuisine at reasonable prices!
Every guest should be able to expect prompt service, nutritious food and a pleasant atmosphere. Dr. Regula Pfister, Chair of the Board of Management of ZFV-Unternehmungen (Zurich Women's Association, or Zürcher Frauenverein) since 1995, feels a strong commitment to preserving this tradition.
The principle of serving food and drink in an alcohol-free environment, which was espoused over one hundred years ago by a group of well-to-do, middle-class women, was initially received with some scepticism or just scornfully dismissed. Since then, however, the concept has become well established and the ZFV-Unternehmungen are now an accepted part of the Zurich restaurant scene.

The ZFV-Unternehmungen philosophy: "A sensuous experience of genuine hospitality!" Our primary objective is to treat our guests to a unique culinary experience. At the same time, we are guided by our company philosophy, which is to stimulate all of the five senses - sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. We endeavour to do this in our restaurant operations, although of course it is easier said than done. |
However, if we manage to organise our work well and enjoy what we do, we have already made a good start. This motivates us from day to day to pay closer attention to our duties and to carry them out more efficiently.
